Wonderful place. Celebrated my friend's birthday there with a beautiful location, very nice hotel and nice evening meal. It was just what I wanted to celebrate her birthday and she was elated...
Stay was not long enough. Next time!!!

When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, the reservation which I made on Booked.net at lunchtime the same day hadn't made its way to the hotel. Nevertheless the hotel found us another room at very short notice and offered us dinner free, up to the difference between the tarriff of the room we booked and the room we got. Most welcome & appreciated.

The hotel was clean with lovely and amazing location in the informal 'open all hours' bar area and delightful rooms. Lots of food available in the restaurant. A relaxing stay in February.

The Londonderry Arms is an old, historic hotel, reputed to have been visited and owned by Winston Churchill (who inherited it). The public rooms are full of history and fascinating photos. The hotel is old-fashioned and simple, but the service was very good, and the room was impeccably clean, if lit dimly for reading. Bed was very comfortable, and shower was very good. We booked an affordable "luxury suite," quite a large room with a nice front view. Though we stayed in more "luxury" hotels in Northern Ireland, the Londonderry Arms was the only one to provide a basket of fresh fruit in the room. Both dinner and breakfast were lovely. The surrounding walks, glens and places of interest are numerous; would definitely recommend and re-visit.

Relaxing stay.
Chairs in room were to low to the floor.

Not much really. We stayed her before, but it has gone downhill a lot. The room we had this time was an "executive room", what a joke! Ok the bathroom has been completely re-fitted and although still rather small was adequate. The food on the evening we arrived was best described as poor, Bar food standard and a grease fest. Breakfast was more of the same greasey fair. I certainly would not stay here again.

The hotel of choice in Carnlough. Wonderful and neat place. Brilliantly friendly and accommodating staff who advised the Manager. Nice and outstanding food. Great old fashioned building, stunning location next to the church of Saint John. The 'proper' restaurant and the sea front were beautiful.

The restaurant here was amazing for dinner, we both ordered amazing dishes. The location was ideal, not too far away from Carnlough harbour. Took a walk around city centre, located not very far from the hotel.

I found it to be a freindly welcoming hotel. However as I was only there overnight I canot comment on the facilities etc in any great depth.
The only thing that I noticed were the cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling
